Giving Back

A little goodness goes beyond the doorstep.

Go Grinds is about feeding people—and being part of the community we serve. As we build our business on Kauaʻi, we want giving back to be part of how we grow.

We’re beginning with two priorities: helping island families access locally grown food and supporting the future of the Hawaiian language.

Food for our community

Mālama Kauaʻi

Everyone deserves access to nourishing food. Supporting the people who grow it helps build a stronger future for the island, too.

Mālama Kauaʻi works to increase local food production and access, connecting farmers, families, and community resources. Their work reflects something we care about deeply: a Kauaʻi where locally grown food reaches more local tables

Keeping the language thriving

Supporting the Language of Kauaʻi

ʻŌlelo Hawaiʻi carries generations of knowledge, stories, and connection to this place. Its future belongs in everyday conversations, classrooms, and homes.

Supporting the Language of Kauaʻi (SLK) helps preserve and perpetuate the Hawaiian language through education and cultural enrichment, including support for Kawaikini’s Hawaiian-language immersion education.

How we plan to give

Our plan is to set aside a portion of Go Grinds’ own revenue to support these two organizations.

Contributions will come from our business, with no additional donation required at checkout. Once the program begins, we’ll share how contributions are calculated and divided, along with updates on the donations we’ve made.

We’re starting small, with the intention of making community giving a consistent part of Go Grinds.

Mahalo for helping us build a business that contributes to the place we call home.
